Biography
French ecclesiastic, a Roman Catholic Bishop and Bishop Emeritus of Angouleme (France). He was ordained into the priesthood on February 28, 1953. Twenty years later, May 1, 1973, he was ordained a Bishop. On July 1, 1975 he took over the Bishopric of Angouleme, a post from which he resigned at age 67, on December 22, 1993.
