Biography
British musician, a member of the "Kinks". He plays bass guitar and is a vocalist. The group signed a first contract with Pye Records and reached top of the charts in late '64 as their sound evolved from basic hard-rock to pop-oriented satire. On the singles charts through the early '70s, they also had a long list of best-selling LPs that include "Low Budget," 1979, "State of Confusion," 1983 and "Word of Mouth," 1984.
