Biography

French sports executive, the owner of the St Étienne soccer team. Following allegations of financial misdeeds and slush funds, he was sentenced on 5/15/1991 to three years in jail and fined $107,000. He was pardoned in October 1991.

Rocher married on 5/31/1941; five children. He died of cancer on 3/29/1997, St. Priest en Jarez, France.
