Biography
Italian TV personality, a highly noted host of an immensely popular contest show about popular music. Riva started out as a comic in a duo with Iccardo Billi, an appealing, communicative and agreeable pair. At the apex of his fame, while participating in an event in Verona, he fell from the stage and died later from the injuries, on 9/01/1960.
