Biography

American professional astrologer and syndicated columnist in daily papers read in 30 million homes. He studied law in spite of being advised by Evangeline Adams to put his destiny into the stars. When he moved to Hollywood in 1939, he found his place in the sun as a pro astrol with a movie-goer clientele. For decades his monthly sun-sign parties were an event, attended by minor and often major theatrical guests. An elegant old gentleman with a charming twinkle, he established a learning center in his Hollywood home with weekly evening classes. Gay, never married.

Righter died of cancer 4/30/1988, 11:15 PM, Santa Monica, CA.
