Biography
American singer/songwriter/musician and founder of the band "Modern Lovers. He began playing guitar at age 15 and earning praise for his talent. In 1970 he formed "Modern Lovers" and the group released several albums. In 1983 he released his first solo album and in the '80s touched his fans with several additional releases. One reviewer says of him, "Witty, fresh, innocent and enormously fun, a true maverick, nobody can come up with song titles as wacky as Jonathan's or sing songs about seemingly trivial, nonsensical subjects and sound so real." Richman has inspired a cult-like following.
He made a cameo appearance in the movie, "Dumb and Dumber" and was featured in the hit "Something About Mary."
