Biography
American rap artist, Rhymes formed Leaders of the New School in 1990 and released two albums with the group before releasing his 1996 solo hit single, "Woo-Hah!! Got You All in Check."
His ragga-inspired musical style reflects his Jamaican heritage. When he was only 17 he and some friends signed with Elektra Records and in 1991 the group, now called Leaders of the New School, released their first hit album.
