Biography
Canadian-American perky-blonde actress and game show host. She took over for Rosie O'Donnell's morning show in the autumn of 2002 and the show was aptly entitled "The Caroline Rhea Show".
She met her beau, fundraiser Bob Kelty, in April 1999 but they broke off their engagement in April 2003.
The youngest of three daughters, she took comedy classes at Manhattan's New School. Waiting for her break into show business, she was a waitress for a caterer for seven years, then landed a job at NY's Comedy Club. She landed gigs on TV shows including her role in "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch" as as host of a reality show, "The Bigges Loser."
At age 44, she delivered her first child, a girl named Ava Rhea Economopoulos, born via c-section on October 20, 2008 in New York. The child's father is Rhea's current boyfriend and fellow comedian, Costaki Economopoulos, age 39.
