Biography

French athlete, a judo champion. She began practicing judo at age ten because there was nothing else to do in her village." Restoux became University World Champion in December 1994. While preparing her master's degree in geography, she stood in for L. Tignola at a moment's notice to become World Champion in Chiba, Japan in the 115-pounds category.

Restoux married David Gasset in August 1999. In May 2000 she failed to be selected by the French Federation of Judo for the Sydney Olympics.
