Biography
American twins born by emergency C-Section due to a seven week premature labor. There was a variation of the placement of the umbilical vessels; if the membranes would have ruptured, one or both would have bled to death. With surgical intervention, however, both were saved.
The first twin born was a male; he weighed two pounds and 12 ounces. Two minutes later his twin sister was born; she weighed two pounds and six ounces.
