Biography
American survivor of the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The woman heard the voice of her deceased brother who had died of a drug overdose say to her, "I am watching you, and you and your husband are safe." She descended from the 81st floor by two elevators and stairs and reached the street three minutes before the south tower collapsed. Her husband, a New York City fire fighter, arrived on a fire truck from Brooklyn and was about to enter the South Tower when it collapsed. Both thought the other dead until someone loaned her a cell phone and she reached her husband just before all cell service ended. She was severely traumatized by the events.
