Biography
Belgian social worker. She had rheumatism as a child and was sickly. Her bones calcified and her hands, fingers and toes became gnarled. Introverted, she went on disability until she earned a University diploma as a social worker. She drove a car built for her handicap and lived alone in a bungalow, worked for years in a sitting job. She remained unmarried.
