Biography
American agoraphobic, commencing with middle age and forcing a long sabbatical from his teaching job. In his early 20s the phobia was nowhere to be found; he strolled the entire length of Manhattan with his friend. He is now in therapy and getting better, but has not yet overcome the problem.
