American military personnel who had the assignment of loading Agent Orange on planes in Vietnam from October 1966 to October 1967. He was constantly covered with the white powder. After his tour he began dealing with periods of weakness and vague symptoms. On 9/12/1982 at about 4:00 PM, Akron, OH, he suffered a coronary. Two weeks later, on 9/27/1982 at 6:00 PM, he died from another coronary. His wife tried to prove that Agent Orange was the cause of his illness, but found it hard to prove that a middle-aged man's heart condition is unusual. She also filed a malpractice suit against the hospitals emergency room, which refused to admit him at first and did so only when he went into shock.
