Biography
American congenitally united babies born by caesarean section who weighed ten and a half pounds. They were joined face to face from midchest to lower abdomen, but were normal otherwise. On 6/28/1962 at 7:00 AM EST, surgery was performed. Everything went well until the membrane surrounding the two hearts was separated. One baby died in surgery and the other died later.
