Biography
Spanish baby born prematurely by Caesarian to a dead mother. The child's mother was declared clinically brain dead on November 13, 1999 after suffering a brain hemorrhage but was kept on life support systems so that her child could spend 29 weeks in utero. The child weighed 2.8 pounds at birth and exhibited some breathing problems but doctors were confident he would survive.
