Biography
Indian pro astrologer, the earliest of the modern Indian astrologers to be known in the U.S. A graduate of Central college at Bangalore, he practiced law at Bellary for nine years. His interest in astrology began while he was in college. A prolific writer, he published his first book in 1882 and began publication of the Indian Astrology Magazine in 1895, acting as editor until his death. His grandson, B.V. Raman, continued his business.
Rao died March 1937.
