Biography
East Indian writer and lecturer, conversant with both cultures and able to interpret the interaction between east and west, commuting easily between the two world views.
Santha was the daughter of Dhanvanthi Rama Rau, an Indian social worker with an aristocratic family background, and Sir Bengal Rama Rau, a leading Indian diplomat. She was married with one child.
