Biography
French actor, mainly known for his unforgettable film interpretations of author Marcel Pagnol's characters. He began his career as a coffeehouse singer and music-hall extra, leading to onstage work from 1899 and to starring roles in revues.
Raimu married on 3/28/1936.
He died in Neuilly sur Seine on 9/20/1946.
