Biography

American actress who began her career as a dancer. At age 19 she landed a contract with MGM and began appearing in dancing roles in movies. After injuring her leg, she turned to acting instead but was unable to break into star status.

She married John Harlan in 1944, divorcing three years later. In 1948 she married Thomas Baker; they had two children.

She died April 18, 2004 in Paso Robles, CA.
