Biography
Dutch artist who commenced his career with landscapes and portraits, but finding a gift of political satire, he began drawing anti-German cartoons during WW I. When the Nazis came into power, he continued his work throughout WW II.
Raemaekers died 7/26/1956, the Hague, Netherlands.
