Biography
American parapsychology investigator and researcher. He researched parapsychology for years and brought Uri Geller and Peter Hurkos to the U.S. for testing. He went to Brazil to investigate the medical miracles such as psychic surgery. While there, Arigo operated on Puharich's arm, removing a cyst with a rusty knife.
His books include "The Secret Mushroom" in 1959. He built his own foundation in Maine where he constructed the Faraday cage which was said to have the capability to increase psychic awareness. He died January 3, 1995 in Dobson, NC.

Original record listed Feb 19 1918 as the birth date with the following source notes: Ray Mardyks quotes him. Richard Nolle quotes him for 7:30 AM. (Steinbrecher had the B.C. in hand that gives February 9, 1918; he notes that it was registered on March 11 so could well be in error.) On October 30, 2009 PT notes that she believes that the birth certificate date is correct and that the date of February 19th is a result of an error in transmission. The birth certificate date of February 9 is further supported by the social security death index submitted by Jim Gorham which also gives February 9th as the birth date. In the absence of a birth certificate in hand, PT left the record as it was originally.
