Biography
American professional astrologer and writer. She was also known as a popular lecturer, with a vast astrological knowledge, quick wit and wonderful stage presence. Starting to write articles for the astrological magazines in the '50s, she became a consulting Editor of "Fate's Astrological Forecast" in 1966. Pryor became a member of the AFA September 1953.
She died on 7/14/1982 at 7:30 PM in Canton, NY. While she had been physically ill for a long time and was legally blind, her mind remained clear right up to the end. Many of AFA's older members will remember her for work she did at the conventions and for the Bulletin, writing and speaking on Mundane and Horary Astrology. Everyone remembered her as possessing an excellent speaking voice and commanding manner. Because of her wonderful stage presence, vast astrological knowledge, and quick wit, Olive was always in great demand. In addition to her AFA honors of FAFA, Olive was a stalwart with the New York Astrologer's Guild in their heyday.
