Biography

Canadian painter specializing in still life realist paintings. She had her first solo exhibition at the Memorial University Art Gallery in St. John's in 1967 and has since received several awards and honors. In 1997 she was awarded $50,000 with the Canadian Molson Prize. In 2007 the Canadian postal service issued a stamp in her honor. She and her husband, artist Christopher Pratt, have four children.
