Biography
Italian ecclesiastic and Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. A priest, he became Bishop of Pistoia in 1573, Archbishop of Florence in 1574, Cardinal 1583 and elected Pope April 1 to 27, 1605, for 28 days. He died 4/27/1605.
