Biography
Spanish-Italian ecclesiastic; elected Roman Catholic pope on 8/10/1492 OS. A member of the infamous Borgias, his corrupt, worldly and ambitious papacy contributed to the decline of the prestige of the church. Borgia was a lawyer and a church administrator. He fathered many children.
He died on 8/18/1502 OS, Rome, probably of poisoning.
