Biography

Russian twin air crashes, within minutes of each other, in which terrorism is suspected. Russian officials speculated that the plane crashes were a result of terrorism by Chechan separatists, and explosives were later found aboard the Siberian Air Liner..

The first plane, a Volga-Avia Express Tupolev 134, was en route to Volgograd when disappeared from radar at 10:56 PM (local time). Its wreckage was found about 100 miles south of Moscow near Tula.

The second plane, The Siberia Tupolev 154 dropped off radar screens at 10:59 PM, about 100 miles from Rostov-on-Don.

All passengers and crew of both planes were killed, totaling at least 90.
