Biography

American mechanical engineer and CEO in charge of Bush Wellman, a specialty metals company. Piper has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech, 1948 and an MBA degree from NYU in 1953. After a short two year retirement, the board wanted a more aggressive marketing, bringing Piper back in for the challenge of a turnaround.
