Biography
American entrepreneur, one of the U.S. first greatest businesswomen with marketing her "Lydia Pinkham Elixir" which was said to cure everything from baldness to insanity. She spent millions in marketing alone, one of the first entrepreneurs to understand the value of advertising. An accomplished herbalist, she sincerely believed her cure to be a boon to mankind.
She died 3/17/1883.
