Biography
French teacher, author and criminologist. He served first as a magistrate and later became Inspector-General of the Judicial Administration 1941-1978. A prison administrator and Secretary-General of the International Society for Criminology from 1940 and the President of the association 1973-1978. Pinatel also taught at the Institute of Criminology at Sorbonne and was the author of "Criminology."
