Biography
American explorer and entrepreneur who followed expeditions into Africa and who founded the American Foundation for the Study of Man. As an entrepreneur, he became President of and a major stockholder in two different oil companies, which were founded in 1958.
Died of a heart attack on 12/04/1975, Arlington, VA.
