Biography
American attorney representing the Goldman family on the civil case against O.J. Simpson in late 1996. A powerful speaker, he made an eloquent closing argument in the sensational case. On 2/04/1997 the case concluded. The jury came in at 3:30 PM but the results were not read until all the principals were assembled.
The reading of the verdict began at 7:15:20 for the first Yes, wrongful death, and continued through Yes, battery, Yes, with oppression, Yes, with malice, concluding at 7:19 PM PST. Simpson was charged with $8.5 million in damages, with punitive damages pending.
