Biography
Serbian royalty, a popular king of the Croats, Serbs and Slovenes, who grew up with his family in exile in France. In 1903 he returned to Serbia where he was crowned June 11, 1903. On December 1, 1918 he received the title of King of Croats, Serbs and Slovenes. He died in Belgrade on August 16, 1921, age 77.

(original title in Serbian: "Kralj Petar od rodjenja do smrti"), author: Milenko M. Vukicevic. Book was originally published in 1923, and republished in 2003. I've used this latter copy, published by "Svet knjige" from Belgrade. The relevant quote is on page 15, and reads (my translation): "Day after his birth, 'Serbian newspapers' published the following short news, dated June 29: 'This morning, around seven o'clock, our holy princess, Mrs.Persida, gave birth to her son.'"
