Biography
German military man, the Nazi Field-Marshall and tank specialist who commanded German forces at Stalingrad. Hopelessly besieged by the Russians from November 1942, he surrendered on 1/31/1943. He was interred until 1953 when he was returned to East Germany and released. He became a lecturer on military affairs.
Paulus died 2/01/1957, Dresden, Germany.
