Biography

American actor and singer, producer and director. His films include the role of Frankie in "Nothing But a Man," 1964, Brendo in "Sweet Love Bitter," 1967, and Johnson in "Stiletto," 1969. He cut a record for Mercury label in 1962, "Fly Black Bird."

He did some TV but mainly legitimate theater from 1958 including "Carmen Jones," and "Porgy and Bess," 1961.

Parker produced "The Yellow Pillow" at Harlem Performance Center, 1976.
