Biography
American professional astrologer, teacher, lecturer, and writer, Amanda's study of astrology began in 1974 and she has maintained a private practice since 1985. She is a cofounder and the current president of the Philadelphia Astrology Society (PAS) and a prior steering committee member of AFAN. Amanda is the author of "Lucky Stars," an astrology book for teens, which was released by Random House in September 2001.
Amanda directs the Pennsylvania Time Project (PTP). She researches and collects information regarding birth time documentation from Pennsylvania hospitals and distributes that information to astrologers world-wide to assist them in utilizing correct data for accurate astrology charts and readings.
Amanda lectures frequently on astrological subjects to laypersons and professionals and maintains a busy teaching schedule. In the 1990's she authored a monthly column entitled Little Stars for Horoscope Guide magazine answering parents' questions about their children and has written a variety of articles for astrological publications including Horoscope Guide, American Astrology, The Mountain Astrologer and a variety of publications of JBH Publishing. Additionally she writes for the teen magazine, CosmoGIRL.
