Biography
American evangelical, television preacher. He is the youngest of four boys and followed in his father John's footsteps, becoming a minister. On October 3, 1999, he assumed the position of Senior Pastor of Lakewood Church. He began Lakewood's television outreach ministry and worked alongside his father.
With his toothy-broad smile, slick hair, energetic youthful appearance, and biblical messages of love, Osteen and his wife Victortia have raised millions for his church and has increased membership via televised services and orations. With a reported 38,000 members attending weekly services Lakewood is an evangelical center that had to move to a former sports arena to accommodate the numbers of attendees.
