Biography
Italian actor, the robust lead in a variety of Italian films from the mid-'30s following an active stage career. He took a variety of roles, ranging from neorealism to costume melodrama. A popular star for four decades, he gradually eased into character parts.
Nazzari died of cardiac arrest in November 1979.
