Biography
French writer, a playwright and novelist, the author of 25 novels since 1971. He received the Goncourt award in 1980. After a move to Canada in 1988, he returned to France, 1992, and published what is considered to be his best novel, ‘’Poudre d’Or."
Suffering from AIDS, he committed suicide on 1/24/1994.
