Biography

Italian chemist who won the Nobel Prize in 1963 along with Karl Ziegler, for their contributions to macro molecular chemistry, more specifically, the study of tactical and a tactical polymers. He was the Director of the Polytechnic Institute Industrial Chemistry Research Center in Milan. Natta also held professorships at the University of Pavia, Rome, and Torino.

He was the son of a prominent Italian judge. His wife was a literature professor and they had two children.

Natta died on 5/02/1979.
