Biography
American spokeswoman for Cardinal Law, she became familiar to many as she fielded inquiries and allegations during the sexual abuse scandals that rocked the Archdiocese of Boston, MA. She has been described as ambitious and of being "capable of doing whatever she has to do to succeed." After a settlement was reached and Cardinal Law was removed from his position within the Diocese in 2003, she stepped down from her position in September, 2003 and, shortly thereafter, she became regional director of corporate affairs for the American Red Cross Blood Services.
