British homicide perpetrator, a child- killer known as the Cannock Chase killer. Morris kidnapped seven-year-old Christine Ann Darby in Walsall, Staffordshire, England, his home town, sexually assaulted and suffocated her. In spite of his boast to his wife that "I've never made a mistake in my life," his car was spotted near the place where the girl had last been seen and the license was traced to him. Morris spent the rest of his life in prison.
