Biography
Scottish poet, editor and teacher. Montogmerie edited four volumes of folklore as well as children's poetry. He taught at Morgan Academy in Dundee as well as at Dundee College of Commerce and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Edinborough in 1954..
He married in 1934; he and his wife Norah had two children.
Montgomerie died November 4, 1994 in Edinborough.
