Biography

French musician and conductor who was most noted for leading the works of Stravinsky, Ravel and Debussy. He was the founder and director of the Paris Symphony from 1929-1938 and conducted Diaghilev's Ballets Russes.

Monteaux died on 7/01/1964, Hancock, MA.
