Biography
American performance artist, most famous for “Art/Life”, a one year performance where she was tied together to the Taiwanese artist Tehching Hsie with a rope from 4 July 1983 to 3 July 3 1984. She was trained as a Maryknoll Sister during the late 1950s and returned to Catholicism in the 2000s after exploring Eastern religion in the 1970s and 1980s.
