Biography

Italian boxer, a dramatic and exciting grand champion. Mitri had an extravagant life style filled with wine, beautiful women, drugs and whatever took his fancy. Going through his championship purses, he traveled from the heights to the depths. After his retirement it was a steady decline and he ended up with little more than his small pension to live on, virtually homeless. He met a violent death on 2/12/2001 when he was run over by a train.
