Biography
American noted family and actor, the younger son of Robert Mitchum who has been onscreen from 1969 in some 32 films as of 1985. Though he plays feature and starring roles he is relatively unknown, except in Asia where he is a big star, playing types such as the sensitive killer. In October 1985, he played with his father and son in the TV drama "Promises To Keep."
He has two kids.
In 1998, Mitchum put in his political bid for the California Legislature, winning the Republican primaries in a landslide.
