Biography
American baseball player, an outfielder for the Chicago Cubs. Mieske was originally signed by the San Diego Padres on 6/04/1990 after being selected in the 17th round of the free agent draft. An average player, there is no one particular portion of his career that merits special attention. He has played for three teams during his nine years in the major league, with the first three years of his stint in pro baseball being played with minor league teams. In 1988, Mieske was a member of the U.S. Olympic baseball team.
