Biography
Serbian politician, interim president of Serbia in January 2003, appointed by the Serbian Parliament's Board for Constitutional Issues until a President can be elected. She is the first woman head of state She was deputy speaker of Parliament in late 2000 in Belgrade and became speaker a year later. During the Milosevic years, Micic was a human-rights activist in the town of Uzice near the Bosnian border
