French herbal healer raised in a family of plant healers. His dad taught him the tradition of healing with nature's remedies, and he grieved deeply at 11 when his adored dad died. Mességué knew and aided many rich and famous people who used his knowledge of the curative properties of plants, but he gave as freely of his time and abilities to the poor.
